On the day she was abducted, Annie O’Sullivan, a 32-year-old realtor, had three goals—sell a house, forget about a recent argument with her mother, and be on time for dinner with her ever-patient boyfriend. The open house is slow, but when her last visitor pulls up in a van as she’s about to leave, Annie thinks it just might be her lucky day after all.

Still Missing interweaves the year Annie spent as the captive of a psychopath in a remote mountain cabin, which unfold through sessions with her psychiatrist, with a second narrative following the events after her escape—her struggle to piece her shattered life back together and the ongoing police investigation into the identity of her captor.

Still Missing is a shocking, visceral, brutal and beautifully crafted novel. (less)

If you’re a fan of thrillers with shocking endings, this book is for you. It’s original, nail-biting and disturbing with an ending I never saw coming. The way the story unfolds creates so much suspense that you’ll want to read this book in one sitting so be prepared to clear your calendar for the day!!

  1. I think I won a copy of this book but still haven’t gotten to it. There are so many abduction stories out there but this one just got buried in my pile. I need to dig it out.

  2. I loved this one, but I liked it better when she was abducted than the whole “after” story. The ending was surprising but a little “too much” for me haha My favorite by her was That Night, maybe it wasn’t her best but I got so immersed in that story!!
